Mother Theresa and Abortion
"I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is "Abortion", because it is a war against the child... A direct killing of the innocent child, "Murder" by the mother herself... And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love... And we remeind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts... - Mother Teresa

The Exaltation of the Holy Cross
John: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up,
that whoever believes in him may have eternal life."
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
The Holy Cross of Jesus Chirst, lifted up for all to see His adorable heart vulnerable and peirced by a sword. on this cross we see His love poured out for us, for all to see and recieve. Our hearts our so hard. We want to forgive but we don't know how. We don't how to love and to trust as Jesus did. But Jesus, who knows and who suffered for us the abandoment, betrayal and pain of the cross, longs to heal our hardened hearts. There is power in the cross and in meditating on the cross of Jesus Christ. When we suffer, when it is hard to forgive, we can look to the cross of Christ and pray...
Jesus meek and humble of heart make my heart like unto thine.
that whoever believes in him may have eternal life."
