John 20:29Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
How many Christians in history have given their lives, dying a martyr’s death because they would not deny their believe, in the life death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our savior?
Let us compare this to the number of scientists who have died a martyrs death in order to defend one of their theories.
Darwin recanted his believe in the theory of evolution, on his death bed.
My theory is that in the face of death, these scientist who are making such outrageous and inaccurate claims (i.e. "we found the tomb of Jesus" and “most Christians don’t believe Jesus was ascended into heaven body and soul”) would do the same. I pray they come to their senses before it is too late for their souls and the souls they are harming with their lies. Until then, I would like to encourage anyone who has doubts because of these claims, to put their faith in two thousand years of Church History and the testimony of the martyrs. Two thousand years of Church History and testimony is much more credible than any of the unproven testimonies of some scientist and their short lived theories.
